Just when you thought everyone was done with Labubu, another Pop Mart character has stepped into the limelight – and fans of the cherub-faced Skullpanda are gonna love this one. All the way from Shanghai to the National Museum of Singapore comes the Skullpanda Cage-Uncage Showcase in its first international debut, themed after the art toy character’s eponymous range of plushie keychains and figurines.
While further details are currently unavailable, visitors can probably expect to admire an array of Skullpanda collectibles, including rare pieces, as well as larger-than-life installations in the likeness of the character. Fingers crossed that there will be also a merch corner where figurine enthusiasts can pick up new pieces to add to their display shelves.
Early access tickets for dates December 12 to 16 during opening week are now available for purchase, priced from $22. Not only will you be some of the first in Singapore to witness this exhibition, the first 4,500 visitors will also receive a Singapore-exclusive Skullpanda gift. Standard tickets start from $14.
All tickets come with access to Singapore Odyssea and Once Upon a Tide, so take this chance to open your horizons to these other informative exhibitions within the museum.
