Changi Airport’s fifth terminal has been in the works for a long time, with initial announcements dating back to 2013 – and with construction finally starting this year, there’s still a fair way to go before it takes flight in the mid-2030s. But till then, you can get a sneak peek into the upcoming Terminal 5 with T5 in the Making, an immersive free-entry exhibition that shows what’s really going on behind the scenes.
Through five multisensory zones with AI elements, explore the high-tech systems, innovations, and cutting-edge design planned for T5, along with a dive into Changi Airport’s history and imagination of its future. The centrepiece of the exhibition is an installation that charts the transformation of how a piece of reclaimed land in tiny Singapore eventually gave rise to the world’s best airport today.
Visitors are also invited to envision their own version of T5, and add their touch to an interactive station that lets them visualise what lays ahead for the airport.
The T5 in the Making exhibition will be running at Changi Airport Terminal 3, Level 1 Arrival Hall from January 6 to March 2026, 10am to 8pm daily (last entry at 7.15pm). Admission is free, but online registration is required. Find out more and make your booking here.
