Christmas? More like cute-mas. This year’s festive season in Singapore is shaping up to be an uber bright and adorable one with decorations themed after popular character franchises including Mofusand and Disney – and it’s not stopping there. Joining the cheery line-up of whimsical fun is Sanrio, in a collaboration with Far East Malls.
You’ll see a bakery-themed Sanrio display at Orchard Central, where an illuminated walkway outside the mall leads to a pink Christmas tree topped with Hello Kitty’s ribbon. Step through the tree’s tunnel, and you’ll find a row of gingerbread houses and a candy cart all flanked by some of the top favourite Sanrio characters: Cinnamoroll, My Melody, Kuromi, Hello Kitty, and Pompompurin.
Over at One Holland Village is a Christmas village-inspired set-up, also with a towering Sanrio-fied Christmas tree. Surrounding it are festive houses, with the same troop of Sanrio characters parked in front of them for a cute photo op.
Both malls, along with Clarke Quay Central, are host to Sanrio Christmas pop-up stores stocked with a range of merchandise including blind boxes, plushies, apparel, accessories, and home goods. It’s the perfect place to pick up a gift for that Sanrio fanatic in your life.
Dates of Sanrio Christmas 2025 pop-ups in Singapore:
- One Holland Village: until December 16, 2025
- Orchard Central: until January 4, 2026
- Clarke Quay Central: until January 5, 2026
There’s also a Sanrio-themed mini golf experience happening at West Coast Plaza from December 12 to 14. To join and attempt all five cutesy courses, simply spend a minimum of $20 within the mall. Complete each checkpoint and you’ll receive a free sheet of Sanrio stickers as a reward.
