The best finds usually aren't hiding in antique malls. They're waiting on a folding table in someone's neighborhood. The Inner Sunset Flea Market brings that treasure-hunt mentality to Irving Street on the second Sunday of every month from April through November, filling two blocks with vintage clothing, secondhand gems, local artists, makers, live music, and family-friendly activities. Every market has its own theme, giving regulars a reason to come back while keeping the atmosphere fresh from month to month. The neighborhood's cafés, bookstores, and restaurants spill into the experience, making it easy to spend the afternoon wandering before heading into nearby Golden Gate Park. It feels less like a shopping event than a Sunday tradition, one where half the fun is seeing what turns up when you weren't looking for anything at all.
