Eagles Of Death Metal

Twenty years on, Death By Sexy remains a particularly good excuse to see Eagles of Death Metal in a room built for loud guitars and loose behavior. The album has aged well because it never took its own swagger too seriously, folding bluesy riffs, garage-rock grit and absurdly catchy hooks into something that is more fun than reverent. Hearing it marked in full at the Fillmore gives the anniversary a useful point of focus rather than turning the night into a general career retrospective. Paradise Vultures are on the bill too, making this a two-band rock night rather than a single-album exercise. With the show starting at 8pm on a Tuesday, it is an easy one to commit to if you want something rowdy without sacrificing your entire night.
