Pan Dulce gets a particularly good midweek excuse this time around, with Drag Race Mexico star Elektra Vandergeld taking over Beaux for a live appearance. The Wednesday night party already has a Latin club focus, with reggaeton, cumbia, merengue and dance music from DJ Ben, plus go-go performances and drag throughout the night. Adding Vandergeld gives the evening a sharper reason to show up rather than treating the guest appearance as another name on a flyer. It is also a fitting choice for the Castro, where a packed dance floor and drag show can easily become the same event. The party runs from 9pm to 2am, with free entry available before 10pm for those who reserve in advance. If you are looking for a reason to make Wednesday feel less like Wednesday, this is a fairly convincing one.
