Bad Art Club presents: Oh My Gouache!

Gouache is having a good night out. Bad Art Club’s latest session at The Nook takes the medium’s saturated colors and creamy texture as an excuse to make painting feel playful again, with no portfolio, technique or artistic ambition required. The useful part is that everything is supplied, so you can arrive empty-handed and get straight to smearing paint around. The evening is deliberately low-stakes, with time to make something, then share what you came up with before heading home. That makes this a particularly good Monday reset if your usual creative routine has started feeling too much like work. It is also a sober, all-ages gathering, which gives it a different rhythm from the usual bar-based social event. Just do not arrive late: entry closes at 6:30pm, and the actual painting starts at 7pm.
