Harggety gives the shaped-canvas genre a literal twist with his convoluted compositions resembling striped ribbons or wall paper samples. Each folds back on itself in a continuous lines to create different möbius-strip configurations, like Bridget Rileys lost in an M.C. Escher universe. They throw you for a loop, but in a good way.
