Egg Rolls and Egg Creams Festival

Experience culture clash at this Lower East Side block party, which celebrates the Chinese, Jewish and, starting this year, Puerto Rican communities who’ve called the neighborhood home. At the Museum at Eldridge Street’s 16th annual festival, you can enjoy Chinese opera as you chow down on an empanada right after a tutorial in basic Yiddish (or prep your own dumplings while listening to klezmer music before learning Spanish).
