Brooklyn Bridge Dance Party

Technically speaking, the Celebrate Brooklyn! festival swings into overdrive later in the summer, but a series of Thursday night dance parties in Brooklyn Bridge Park unofficially kicks off the season, when Brooklyn Bridge Wine Bar sets up a beer garden. Tonight features a live set from Grammy Award–winning jazz musician Poncho Sanchez, free salsa lessons from instructor Jose Rivera and a mix by DJ Bobbito Garcia.
