Alison Saar: "Feallen and Fallow"

Los Angeles artist Alison Saar sculpted four large bronzes representing the seasons for this installation. The works were inspired by the myth of Greek goddess Persephone, whose exile to the underworld for six months each year explained the changes in weather. They will be on view with a pair of Saar’s earlier bronzes called Treesouls.
