Alice Ripley: All Sondheim

Alice Ripley's edgy presence and rough-edged rock-musical voice found a perfect match in the lead role of Broadway musical Next to Normal, for which she won a richly deserved 2009 Tony Award. Her new nightclub set is devoted to songs by musical-theater king of kings Stephen Sondheim.
