The Incredible Fox Sisters

Maggie and Kate Fox, two teenage girls from upstate New York, became a sensation in the 1840s when they claimed to be able to communicate with the dead. Jaclyn Backhaus's play, which was workshopped at last year's Ice Factory Festival, charts the meteoric rise and fall of these small mediums; it is directed by Tyler Mercer for Live Source, which specializes in merging stage and film elements.
