Rattlestick Playwrights Theater

Founded in 1994, Rattlestick is devoted to producing work by up-and-coming American authors. Its 99-seat West Village walk-up venue is cozy, but be warned: If you need to go the bathroom, get there early, as you literally have to walk across the stage to get to the loo.
