Lysistrata Jones

This musical about basketball and chastity has a peppy neo-Grecian formula: one part Aristophanes, one part Xanadu, two parts High School Musical. The cast is energetic, but the plot is silly, the music humdrum and the characters trite; supposedly about passion, the show is content to let its earnestness go to camp.—Adam Feldman
