Penny-pinchers can loosen their grip on their wallets a bit, now that the off-price chain has sprouted this Midtown West locale to join its recently opened location in Midtown East. It takes some patience to rifle through the overwhelming—albeit neatly organized—racks, but the discounted scores will likely be worth it. The merchandise is ever-evolving, but on any given day you’ll find bargains on accessories (Jessica Simpson leather hobo bags, $40), men’s clothing (Michael Kors button-downs for $30 and Rock & Republic dark-wash jeans for $120), women’s threads ($50 Calvin Klein peacoats and $60 Tahari blazers) and shoes (Steve Madden suede stiletto platforms, $50). We especially love scouring the solid selection of home merchandise, such as Tommy Hilfiger plaid cotton flannel queen-size sheets ($35) and Kathy Van Zeeland leopard-print rolling carry-on suitcases ($50).
