Relaxed yet sharp, his designs favor that distressed vintage look, drawing inspiration from the best-loved garments of unruly guitar-slinging types. His Bowery boutique took over the space of the defunct punk club CBGB and preserves its dark, dingy sprit about as tastefully as a fancy fashion line could.
