Time Out says

In his kitchen, chef Kwame Williams pays homage to "the Jamaican table I grew up at and the American kitchens I’ve been creating in." He's now started to share that story with a lucky few through a secretive Caribbean supper club that moonlights in SoHo. This month, the chef is back at the table, and all are invited.

Join Williams for Proppa Suppa on Sunday, August 23. For this rendition of the Caribbean dining series, Chef Williams is exploring the origin of Jamaica's original name: Xaymaca, a word coined by the indigenous Taino (Arawak) people that translates to "land of wood and water." The following supper will feature a litany of fresh seafood remixed with island flavors, such as oysters dressed with a pickapeppa scallion mignonette and jumbo lump crab with hearts of palm, avocado and cherry tomato bursting right out of the shell.

Tickets to Proppa Suppa are priced at $165 and include the multi-course menu and beverage pairings. The full address will be shared upon ticket confirmation. Reserve your spot here
