New York karaoke is about to get an extremely famous guest list.
Lin-Manuel Miranda, Paul Rudd and Hillary Clinton are teaming up to host a karaoke fundraiser in New York City on October 19, with proceeds supporting Latino Victory Project and Onward Together, two organizations focused on voter mobilization and civic representation.
The evening will also feature a lineup of special guest performers, though those names have yet to be announced.
And, yes, there is a way for regular people to potentially get into this very unusual celebrity karaoke night. A sweepstakes is currently underway, with a VIP package that includes tickets to the event, a meet-and-greet with Miranda and Clinton, round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations for the winner and a guest. No contribution is required to enter, but there are tiers available. For a $10 donation, you receive 10 entries, all the way up to 250 chances to win for the price of $250. All contributions go to the two organizations being supported.
The event is an especially New York combination of theater/movie/political star power. Clinton is famously a fan of live theater, while Miranda, the creator and original star of Hamilton and In the Heights, has long mixed entertainment with political and civic causes; his 2026 schedule also includes the return of In the Heights to New York City Center this fall. And Rudd has appeared on Broadway multiple times throughout his career, most recently in Grace in 2012.
There are no announced details yet about the venue or the full performer lineup, so consider this an extremely early warning to clear October 19. New York has plenty of karaoke bars, but very few opportunities to sing badly—or magnificently—in the same room as Lin-Manuel Miranda, Paul Rudd and Hillary Clinton. At least, not with their permission.
