In a food-loving city like New York, diners are always after experiences that feel exclusive, exceptional and, most important of all, delicious. PPX Club, a new members-only dining society, is attempting to fulfill all three of those cravings.

Co-founded by chef Adrienne Cheatham (Le Bernardin, Red Rooster) and her husband Stephen Bailey, the dining club—named for PPX, or "personne particulièrement extraordinaire," the secret hospitality code used in restaurants to signal VIP diners—emphasizes unprecedented insider access to some of the city’s most acclaimed restaurants.
That includes "completely bespoke, one-night-only dinners" inside private dining rooms and specially curated menus created exclusively for club members. Beyond the meal itself, the culinary concept will give attendees the opportunity to interact directly with the chefs and sommeliers behind these esteemed institutions and hear behind-the-scenes insights into the inspiration and conception of each menu.
On the restaurant roster include founding partners Le Bernardin, Crown Shy, HUSO, One Bryant Park, Tatiana and Kabawa, the latter two of which are currently ranked among the top five restaurants in New York by Time Out. The first two member experiences will take place at Le Bernardin and Kabawa, with plans to expand to Miami, Chicago, San Francisco, and beyond.
“Through our relationships in the industry, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to experience restaurants in ways that most people don’t get to,” says Cheatham. “PPX is our way of opening that world up, offering genuine VIP access at exceptional restaurants and cultivating a community through rare, memorable experiences that stay with you long after the meal is over.”
“We’re excited to introduce a new kind of dining society to New York,” adds Bailey. “Unlike traditional clubs tied to a single external space or offering one off opportunities to dine, our members experience a level of access that positions them as coveted ‘regulars’ who can expect a special level of service and attention to detail. We’re opening the door to the city’s most acclaimed restaurants in ways that weren’t previously made available.”
