Ariana Madix is off the island and headed back to Broadway. The Vanderpump Rules star and Love Island USA host will join Just in Time this fall, taking over the role of Connie Francis in the Bobby Darin biomusical.
Madix begins performances September 12 at Circle in the Square Theatre and will stick around through November 22 for a limited engagement. She succeeds Olivia Holt in the role.

For Madix, this is a return to the Broadway stage after her 2024 run as Roxie Hart in Chicago, which turned out to be considerably stronger than the celebrity-casting stunt some theatergoers may have expected. Her engagement was extended after great box office, making her Broadway debut a genuine hit.
Now she's getting a somewhat more complicated assignment: playing Connie Francis opposite Jeremy Jordan's Bobby Darin in a musical about two performers whose lives and careers intersected in the feverish pop culture machinery of the 1950s and '60s.
Just in Time turns Circle in the Square into an intimate nightclub to tell Darin's story through songs including "Beyond the Sea," "Mack the Knife," "Splish Splash" and "Dream Lover." The production was developed and directed by Tony winner Alex Timbers, with a book by Warren Leight and Isaac Oliver. The cast currently includes Carrie St. Louis, Debbie Gravitte, Joe Barbara, Emily Bergl, Lance Roberts, Caesar Samayoa, Christine Cornish, Julia Grondin, Valeria Yamin, Jaime Foord, Tari Kelly, Matt Magnusson, Jeffrey Schecter and Tristen Buettel.
Another reality TV star alum who made a big splash in Chicago will also be joining Just in Time this year (presumably to make a "Splish Splash"). The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and Dancing With the Stars breakout Whitney Leavitt will follow up her record-breaking run in Chicago by returning to Broadway as Sandra Dee beginning December 1, shortly after Madix's run ends.
So if the overlap of your personal taste Venn diagram includes reality TV stars, Broadway musicals and extremely handsome Broadway leading men in bathtubs, there's really only one option this fall.
