Glace will cool you down with frozen dessert collabs with Le Rock, Naro and more this summer

It's hotter than a gorilla's armpit out there, folks. And along with the sweet relief that you're getting from the city's public pools and cooling centers, 'tis the sweaty season for a good frozen treat. Luckily, New York is full of them, from smooth soft serve to slushy cocktails, and this week you'll have even more heat-beating options courtesy of Glace.

From now through Sunday, July 20, Glace—the sweet local chainlet that made waves with its luxurious hot chocolate and small-batch ice cream—is launching an exclusive summer collaboration series at their retro-inspired Rock Center truck, teaming up with some of the most beloved restaurants in the neighborhood for the season.

Parked at 30 Rockefeller Plaza (on 49th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, in front of FAO Schwarz), you'll find the Glace truck, which will be doling out a rotating menu of one-of-a-kind frozen desserts made in partnership with Rock Center’s most recognizable culinary institutions including Le Rock, Five Acres, Smith & Mills, NARO and Lobel’s Original. Each treat will pair Glace's signature ice creams and frozen drinks "with the distinct flavors and creativity of each restaurant," per the Glace team.

And after debuting its first collaboration this past weekend—the Glace x Le Rock Pistachio Paris Brest Sundae, made with gluten-free choux pastry, Le Rock’s pistachio praline and vanilla soft serve and topped with caramelized pistachios—the upcoming lineup of collab desserts includes: 

• Glace x 5 Acres Cherry Cobbler a la Mode (June 26th - 29th): Made with 5 Acres warm cherry pie filling, cornmeal crumble, and topped with brown butter vanilla soft serve

• Glace x Smith & Mills Cosmo Royale Fifty/Fifty (July 3rd - 6th): Smith & Mill’s famous Cosmo Royale reimagined as frozen treat 

• Glace x NARO Sweet Corn & Honey Butter Parfait or Sundae (July 10th - 13th): Featuring vanilla soft serve made from locally sourced Long Island corn, sweet honey butter and Naro’s corn crunch topping

• Glace x Lobel’s Bacon Butterscotch S’mores Sundae (July 17th - 20th): A choice of soft serve flavor, with tallow butterscotch and crispy candied Lobel’s bacon with a marshmallow halo rim
