Unsound Festival: Singularity with Actress + Next Life + Hype Williams

Unsound travels downtown to Le Poisson Rouge for a session of exploratory electronic action. The U.K.'s Actress creates beautifully crafted soundscapes that flow effortlessly despite their detailed patterns (his third album, RIP, is out the week on the Honest Jon's label); Norway's Next Life favors an ear-shredding sound that takes in elements of metal and noise; and the somewhat mysterious Hype Williams duo Dean Blunt and Inga Copeland create meandering sounds that veer between unsettling and transcendent.
