The violinist founder of ETHEL and Bang on a Can regular, whose pioneering work with electronics and living American composers was instrumental in making classical music hip again, gets a well-deserved party in Brooklyn celebrating the release of his debut double-disc Outerborough. He'll be joined by a roster of notable buddies from the classical, indie and art worlds. Revelers go home with a copy of the disc, which is included in the price of admission.
