The Silk Road Ensemble

Yo-Yo Ma's renowned multicultural orchestra caravans into New Jersey. The players will premiere Vojo, written collaboratively by ensemble members. The piece connects Spain to Japan through the interplay of Galician bagpipes called gaita and Japanese shakuhachi flutes.
