Tal National

Now this really sounds promising: Tal National is a funky, frenetic guitar band from Niger, led by Hamadal "Almeida" Moumine, who also works as a judge and a teacher. The group just released its second album on FatCat, Zoy Zoy, and it's a terrific, joyful affair. This live show promises to be equally sweaty and exhilarating.
