Jay Hunter Morris is our arrogant titular hero in this origin tale, the third part of Der Ring Des Nibelungen. The story follows Siegfried's early conquests, including that of his beloved Brünnhilde, sung here by Deborah Voigt. Bryn Terfl continues his run as head god Wotan, disguised in this episode as the mysterious Wanderer. Fabio Luisi presides over the Met Orchestra.
