Ron Carter Big Band

Everybody knows how fantastic a bassist Ron Carter is, not to mention the fact that we all own at least one recording with him on it (Miles Davis! A Tribe Called Quest!). Typically known for his small-group prowess, Carter heads a large ensemble here, as heard on 2011's brassy, vintage-style swinger Ron Carter's Great Big Band.
