Orpheus Chamber Orchestra

The Orpheus Chamber Orchestra presents an all-German program with Mendelssohn's Overture to a Midsummer Night's Dream (inspired by Shakespeare's comedy) and Schumann's Symphony No. 2 in C major. The clincher, however, is the premiere of Duo Concerto by Wolfgang Rihm, whose challenging work remains ever cognizant of his nation's rich heritage.
