Hear Beethoven’s music performed as it was during his lifetime, when renowned conductor Sir John Eliot Gardiner leads two historically informed all-Ludwig performances. The Goethe-inspired Egmont Overture and two of his most popular symphonies, Nos. 7 and 5, kick things off on Wednesday night. Thursday's concert features middle-period masterpieces including the Overture to Die Geschöpfe des Prometheus, and Symphonies Nos. 3 and 4.
