Marshall Crenshaw and the Bottle Rockets

Few know how to rock hand claps in a song like pop-music auteur Marshall Crenshaw does. He has a gift for peppy tunes ("Someday, Someway," for example) powered by jangly guitars, catchy melodies and sly lyrics—yet he was also up to the task of playing with the revived MC5 in the early aughts. Tonight he teams with raucous St. Louis blues outfit the Bottle Rockets.
