That this concert is billed as French pianist Lise de la Salle's only New York recital is a bit of tricky semantics, given that she played (Le) Poisson Rouge only last week. (You can also catch a glimpse of her during the Young Concert Artists Marathon on Sat 19.) Still, the chance to hear her play a rarity-stuffed Liszt program in the fine acoustics of the Met Museum's hall is something worth crowing about.
