Khaira Arby, a northern Mali artist influenced by cousin Ali Farka Touré, plays colorful, rootsy music with modern flourishes on her new record, Timbuktu Traab. Also joining the show, a benefit for ASSADEC, is singer-guitarist Jeremiah Lockwood and his group, the Sway Machinery, which gives Jewish melodies an indie-rock face-lift.
