James Iha + Milagres

Fourteen years after his first solo release, former Smashing Pumpkins man James Iha is back with his sophomore effort, Look to the Sky. He's got some all-star guests on his tuneful pop-rock disc: Sara Quin (Tegan and Sara), Karen O and Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Tom Verlaine (Television) and more. Brooklyn quintet Milagres provides unabashedly nostalgic indie pop, ridden with dreamy hooks, that draws comparisons to Wild Beasts and Grizzly Bear.
