Christine Ebersole and Billy Stritch

The talk of the town for her outstanding performance in the 2006 musical Grey Gardens, Ebersole can really knock out a number, moving with ease among her lustrous belt, her mock-operatic soprano, and five or six other modes. Tonight she returns to her frequent perch at Birdland, backed by the pianist Billy Stritch.
