Bebel Gilberto

Brazilian star Bebel Gilberto’s albums are so productioncentric that she sometimes sounds like a stranger to the process at hand. Her most recent album, All in One (Verve), features a slew of fancy producers for its different songs: Mark Ronson, Dust Brother John King and some Tropicalia vets. Yet rarely does Gilberto seem overwhelmed by her surroundings.
