A Thousand Clowns

A thousand too many? Phooey on youey. Based on a popular play by Herb Gardner, this paean to nonconformity gets a bit precious at times, but is worth seeing for Jason Robards’s energetic performance, as well as fine supporting turns by Barbara Harris and Martin Balsam.
