Locals trading in their Vespa scooters for Maclaren strollers will find this quiet, spacious joint a welcome alternative to the usual string of sticky dives and hipster bars. Owners Tom Schmitz and Tom Kenny run a bright bar with attractive touches—oversize windows, mirrors flanking the room, a long wooden bar and four cozy booths. An array of single-malt Scotches and microbrews are available; attentive (and attractive) bartenders are happy to make suggestions.
