Trisha Brown Dance Company

Brown restages Astral Converted, the final piece of her Valiant Series, which premiered in 1991. The dance is set to music by John Cage and features costumes and design by Robert Rauschenberg—including metal-frame towers that not only house the lights and the sound system, but also detect and respond to the dancers' motions.
