Graham 2

The second troupe of the Martha Graham Dance Company honors Robert Cohan, who danced with the group 1946–1957 before leaving to start his own company. The program features a film retracing Cohan’s achievements as well as a duet from his 1977 work Forest. The program also includes guest choreographer Darshan Singh Bhuller’s The Virgin Queen (2011) and two Graham works: Temptations of the Moon (1986) and an excerpt from Night Chant (1988).
