Aki Sasamoto

Sasamoto choreographs and stars in the new Sunny in the Furnace. Part installation, part dance, the piece includes timber sculptures by Sam Ekwurtzel that the performer will navigate to portray the story of a mythic character who shovels coal to fuel the furnace of life.
