Mister Saturday Night: Motor City Drum Ensemble

Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin are back with their night devoted to an expansive array of underground dance music, this one taking place in an as-of-now secret loft space. Wherever the party's at, it's going to be a night of phenomenal music: The headliner is Danilo Plessow, better known as Motor City Drum Ensemble, or MCDE for short. Plessow's productions are restrained, refined takes on deep house, disco and techno—but as a DJ, he's apt to spin just about anything to create a divine mood, as witnessed by his recent (killer) contribution to the DJ-Kicks mix-CD series.
