Downtown Literary Festival

For the second year, McNally Jackson Books and Housing Works Bookstore Cafe team up for a day of nontraditional events, reflecting their collective vision of the downtown scene. Happenings include a panel of nonnative New Yorkers (such as Teju Cole) expressing how welcoming the Big Apple is, Richard Price and Francine Prose discussing economic change, and a group of graphic novelists talking about New York City as a character.
