As the title suggests, the tactile appeal of prodigiously applied pigment is the quality uniting this show's works by three artists: the postwar French tachist Jean Fautrier (1898–1964), Austrian artist Franz West (1947–2012) and contemporary Chinese painter Zhu Jinshi.
