Ryan Mrozowski, “Open, Other, End”

For his inaugural show with the gallery, Mrozowski presents eye-catching paintings in which quotidian subjects (oranges, polka dots, birds, flowers, grass) become abstracted by being repeated within allover compositions. The results have a heavily stylized, uncanny presence.
