Ragnar Kjartansson, "Me, My Mother, My Father, and I"

This first New York museum show of the Icelandic artist (born 1976) features his videos, which are known for their filmic gloss and narrative compression, as well as a performance with ten musicians. As the show titles suggest, the works relate to the artist's family members, all of whom are noted actors in Iceland's film and theater worlds.
