Maureen Gallace

Gallace’s canvases are small, but they pack a painterly punch thanks to creamy brushwork, rich color and spare, simplified depictions of flowers, landscapes, barns, shorelines and other features of life lived close to nature—or at least, outside of New York. Her latest work is focuses on views of the ocean but also contains floral still lifes and views of the seasons.
