“Chuck Close: Recent Work”

Close returns to a style that more closely resembles the one that put him on the map than his endeavours over the last couple of decades. His use of a grid and color separation techniques to create self-portrait recall his hyperrealistic paintings of the 1970s, while being far more abstract.
