The Makery Pop Up at 92Y

The Makery—a pop-up "makerspace" offering hands-on workshops for kids—is taking up residency at 92Y as part of the "7 Days of Genius" festival. Creative tykes can take part in awesome projects led by accomplished tech educators and designers that teach skills including programming, 3-D design and engineering. The kids can create their own video games and working controller (3/1 at 10am), 3-D toy or jewelry (3/1 at 2pm), rubber-band powered vehicle (3/2 at 10am) or a whimsical moving art piece that, when connected to other teams' machines, will form a quirky Rube Goldberg machine. Ages 8 and up.
