NYRR Midnight Run

Celebrate the new year with the New York Road Runners in Central Park. Kids can get in on the fun starting at 10pm with a free, open-to-the-public dance party and costume contest at the Bandshell. Cheer on the runners when they hit the road at the stroke of midnight for a four-mile unscored race through the park as fireworks light up the sky. The party continues at the Bandshell until 1am, but you'll probably be ready for bed by then.
